Project- web site (pages)

You are a Website developer and will construct a Website (no less then six to ten pages) for a client. You may develop this Website for anyone, but you need to think this client as a real world client.

Please do not use HTML Editors for HTML, CSS and Javascript, instead do it in the source code via Notepad or another editor. This will be hard for me to confirm (although many Web editing software packages add their "own" code, particularly Microsoft products) but you will learn the most by doing the actual source code work, plus this makes for creating the "cleanest" code without unnecessary stuff mixed in.

Your project should include the following:

• Uses an external CSS file for overall control of style, although pages can also include imbedded or line styles as well
• Uses CSS to alter link color or style (Pascarello Ch 14)
• Specify in your CSS at least one custom ID and and least one custom class
• Make a rollover (mouseover) on an image where the image then changes. Thus, you see image1 when you first open the page, but if you put your mouse over the image it changes to image2 (Teague Chapter Ch 10; Pascarello Ch 4)
• Include a Javascript navigation element of your choosing
• Create a custom JavaScript function with an associated event handler (which calls the function) that is particular to your web site (you need to create it, it has to be specific to your site)
• Include a minimum of two images or multimedia files
• Include a minimum of one table with custom styles applied to it (color, margin, that type of thing)

You need to submit the following items to me at the end of the 10th week.

• Submit the URL where I can access to your WebSite or submit your complete set of files as a zip file
• Submit a Self-evaluation (not to me, to CityU)
